..::OPIS::.. Will was a Canadian electronic music act founded by Rhys Fulber and Chris Peterson, both members of Front Line Assembly and Delerium at different times. The style was heavy medieval ambient industrial with sampled strings and featured growled vocals by John McRae, who later continued to work with Chris Peterson in the project Decree. ..::TRACK-LIST::.. 1991 - Pearl Of Great Price 1992 - Word-Flesh-Stone 1997 - Déjà-vu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5ctaoP1qH4 SEED 14:30-23:00. ..::OPIS::.. ..::TRACK-LIST::.. 1997 - Wake Of Devastation 2004 - Moment Of Silence 2011 - Fateless https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vB9UYcqIlI4 SEED 14:30-23:00. ..::OPIS::.. Kiedy Rhys Fulber miał pięć lat, ojciec zabrał go na koncert Kraftwerk. Dali temu wyraz w duecie Delerium. Laibach to słoweński zespół, założony w 1980 roku w górniczo-przemysłowej miejscowości Trbovlje w byłej Jugosławii. Skrzydło muzyczne interdyscyplinarnego kolektywu artystycznego Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK), w którego skład wchodzą: grupa sztuki wizualnej IRWIN, grupa teatralna Noordung (dawniej Gledalisce Sester Scipion Nasice), studio grafiki i designu Novi Kolektivizem i Departament Czystej i Stosowanej Filozofii. ...SIŁA I PIĘKNO MUZYKI TKWIĄ W JEJ RÓŻNORODNOŚCI...
...( Opis )... Miejcie radość z odbioru i wspierajcie nas, dzięki! After the well-received debut album "Pompy", Rozwód (Divorce) is back as an electro-acoustic trio with a new record called "Gold", a result of their sonic journey in the search of noble metals and corrugated sheets. "Gold" is a complex movable sound structure fueled by impenetrable raw materials from outer space. This we know for sure. Dig in deeper to find out more for yourself. Sit back and enjoy! To raptem niecałe 40 minut pokręconych dźwięków, tyle jednak wystarczy by nasycić się nią do woli. Preparowane bębny, pady, syntezatory i gitara, czasem można odnieść wrażenie iż w tych niecałych 40 minutach, trio kompresuje wszelakie nurty muzyki współczesnej. Preparowane bębny, pady, syntezatory i gitara, czasem można odnieść wrażenie iż w tych niecałych 40 minutach, trio kompresuje wszelakie nurty muzyki współczesnej. Play 05:00 2. Hantel V2 05:21 3. Drops 04:45 4. ...SIŁA I PIĘKNO MUZYKI TKWIĄ W JEJ RÓŻNORODNOŚCI...
11 utworów industrial prog noise duetu z UK. Dla fanów BATHORY i POPOL VUH. Synapse scorching occult industrial prog noise folk from the strings of Matthew Bower and Samantha Davies. Listening to the music of Skullflower is a psychedelic experience in the same way that staring at a blank wall or ceiling in the dark whilst on acid, drunk out of your skull and/or high on grass (delete as applicable) can be. It’s as overbearing and unwavering as the open-ended violin drone compositions of Tony Conrad or the blasted walls of sound spat out by the likes of Vomir or the Rita. It’s proof that a full-on sonic assault can, in the right context, be as blissful and, I’ll say it again, psychedelic as the tripped-out musings of a Grateful Dead or Amon Düül II. It just takes more patience and a willingness to enter into labyrinthine minds of Matt Bower and Samantha Davies. Bower, in particular, has been ploughing this arcane, extreme furrow for the best part of 30 years, gradually honing it until he’s reached something approaching “tantric noise,” like Pärson Sound with the acoustic circular melodies replaced by unending acidic mechanical bile. For Draconis, the duo returns to the absolutist vein of 2006’s Tribulation and Strange Keys to Untune God’s Firmament from four years later: this latest album, is impossibly long. The tracks bleed into one another like melting glaciers and the primitive song structures of 2011’s superlative Fucked on a Pile of Corpses are whittled away by saturation and excruciating volume. But compared to those two releases, Skullflower have been given (or gave themselves) license to flesh things out a bit, notably via the lush packaging. The album comes in a six-panel double-digipack, complete with a 16-page booklet overflowing with lush illustrations and bizarre photographs that both detail Draconis’ thematic concerns and deepen the mystery. Bower has long had a fascination with arcana and mythological lore, although his focus is, as ever, enigmatic. The paintings that adorn these pages are abstract yet sinister, with vivid colours and strangely animalistic shapes creating an unerring sense of moody drama, as if we’re gazing at ancient humankind’s primitive attempts to recreate the legends of the earth’s creation or the epic battles of Norse mythology. Obscure symbols crop up here and there, whilst sketches and texts evoke trees, dragons and pyramids under the stars, drawing lines in myth and science from the north of England to Bhutan via ancient Egypt and the Hindu goddess Kali. Keeping things as vague and mysterious as possible only accentuates the album’s heady form of lyrical psychedelia. I cannot pretend to understand Bower and Davies’ vision, for I do not have their knowledge or imagination, but it sucks you in like a tornado, because you can’t help but try to figure it out. “Tornado” is also a great metaphor for the music on Draconis. Each track on disc one is a veritable maelstrom of noise with extensive layer of “strings” (live they focus on guitar and violin, but sometimes I swear I can hear synths on Draconis, albeit bludgeoned into abstraction by effects) superimposed and swirling around one another like gales of wind blowing in every direction at once. Disc two is slightly more nuanced, from the two-minute opener “Alien Awakening” (there are aliens in here as well!) that sounds like Keiji Haino recorded in a wind tunnel mid-solo to the epic musical tapestry of 15-minute closer “Dakshinikalika” via “Dresden Spires”’ crumbling blocks of industrial crunch. These are some of the most epic and evocative tracks ever released by Skullflower: huge slabs of metaphysical noise with the awe-inspiring primeval-ness of ancient stone circles, ice-capped mountains or ruined industrial buildings. In translating nature’s mystery and majesty into noise, Skullflower have thrown a curveball into the genre’s progression, taking out of sweaty club spaces and into somewhere more spectral, contemplative and, yet again, psychedelic. It’s no wonder the band mention Popol Vuh on the label’s website. But should anyone reading this be tempted to regard Bower and Davies as little more than two slightly unhinged hippies with a taste for noise and post-pagan mumbo-jumbo, I urge you to check out their back catalogue and anything else you can find on them. There’s a vein of sly, sardonic humour that runs through their entire work (encapsulated here by a picture of their cat looking bemused in the booklet), whilst all this sturm-und-drang conceals first and foremost a deep sense of humanity: our past, our present, our future, our emotions and our fears. It’s hard to tell if this hour and fifteen minutes of noise and drone is a definitive Skullflower statement, but it does what all great music must: it throws open the doors of possibility, asks more questions than it answers, and aims for something beyond the mundanities of reality. ...SIŁA I PIĘKNO MUZYKI TKWIĄ W JEJ RÓŻNORODNOŚCI...
"Psalm 69 to taki historyczny, polityczny i społeczny komentarz lat 90. Poruszane są przeróżne tematy - problem narkotyków w przyozdobiony w kunsztowny riff gitarowy "Just One Fix". Odnajdziemy tu także sprzeciw wobec bezsensu działań wojennych i polityki jaką prowadził George Bush Senior ("N.W.O") piętnujący poczynania całego amerykańskiego rządu jak i procesu globalizacji, który przynosi więcej strat niż zysków. Szaleńczo rozpędzony "TV II" zaskakuje rytmem rodem z najszybszych utworów thrash metalowych. Z kolei "Jesus Built My Hotrod" moją przychylność zaskarbił sobie wybornym solem gitarowym i rozdzierającą partią wokalną Gibby'ego Haynesa. Mój ulubieniec? To numer tytułowy - pełen majestatu i mocy, a także niepowtarzalnej atmosfery - to prawdziwa perła industrialu. Zresztą każdy utwór to najwyższe stadium metalowego zamętu. Ta płyta to nieznośne i kapryśne wydawnictwo. ...SIŁA I PIĘKNO MUZYKI TKWIĄ W JEJ RÓŻNORODNOŚCI...
Evolution is a slow process. One fraught with tension and experimentation. Each successive shedding of skin reveals a stronger, more capable animal. As avenues are explored and discarded, a template emerges and that groundwork gets built on. The Ministry who released the synth-poppy With Sympathy couldn't be further removed from the one who would eventually unleash the thrashing juggernaut that is Psalm 69, their first true, unabashed metal album. But how did they get there? The answer is here. On a live record that finds all of Ministry's conflicting emotions and influences clashing in the heightened tension of an excessive and aggressive tour recording. Things get heavy and twisted here. The spectrum out of danceable industrial into a nigh-unto death metal industrial arises out of the twin flames of heroin and depression -- a band of pissed off junkies who weren't gonna fuck around anymore. For them, In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up (Live) is a milestone recording. At this point in their career, Ministry was a dangerous band. Their shows were full-on chaos, with a chain link fence separating the band from its crazed fans. The violence often got out-of-hand and there was plenty of drugs to fuel the fire. While their two previous studio albums had definitely upped the violence, tension, and heaviness of their sound, the songs still felt relatively restrained. Like a tense and frothing pitbull still held hard on the leash. Those restraints are taken off here. The energy exuding from the speakers from "The Missing" onwards is raw, potent, and disturbing. These songs are twice as urgent, twice as heavy, and far more appealing in the live setting. The twin drum attack of Bill Reiflen and Martin Atkins is fantastic, setting a barbarian tempo on the one hand while the other accents and attacks with ferocity. The trance-like state of repetition that emerges elevates everything, especially the riffs. Mike Scaccia leaving Rigor Mortis for Ministry was a faithful omen made good upon. He twists and turns the riffs in a much more metal direction. The three-guitar front line thrashes away with abandon, reveling in the quickened tempos and heavier distortions. Although the creepy samples and weird synth portions remain audible live, they accent more than dominate. Add it all up and the previous studio versions don't stand a chance. Take "So What" -- here's a song whose hypnotic ragga-groove gets stretched way out and toyed with, building layer upon layer of danceable tension, but when the sheer heaviness of the refrain kicks in, the song just elevates into pure metal catharsis. It's song full of anger, frustration, and pain spun outward. A song that wants to kick your teeth in. I'm sure lots of people lost some teeth in the pit on that one. Or "Stigmata," where the previous drum machine double-bass is replaced by four human feet just pounding it out under a sliding, Sabbath riff that pummels your senses in. This is violent music made moreso because the original versions are so restrained by comparison. Listening to this now, it's no surprise where Psalm 69 came from. Clearly the band reveled in this uptick in heaviness and tension and decided to press it forward and stake new claims and additions to their sound. The songs on this record are all borderline, transitional, taken away from their original intentions and mutated into something darker, more virile, palpably dangerous, and very metal (like in a length of piping being wrapped around your skull). Time has done little to diminish the impact, even if some of the references are dated. For those deep into metal who dug the sounds of Psalm or Ministry's latter day thrash recordings, this is a good place to look back at where their DNA first grafted itself onto a heavier direction. televiper11 1. The latter half of 1989 was a crucial period for what we now call industrial metal. Three genre-defining albums, "L'eau Rouge", "Streetcleaner" and "The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste" were released within two months of each other. All three emerged from different parts of the world, from different scenes, and had a different take on the 'industrial meets metal' idea. There was no formula for the genre at this point. There were a myriad of possibilities and choices. Curious fans could choose from The Young Gods and their experiments with symphonic avant-garde weirdness, or Godflesh plowing the depths of Swans-ish hell. Or they could choose the joker in the pack, Ministry, emerging from the outer reaches of the dance music scene. This fourth Ministry album marks the point when Al Jourgensen's crew embraced metal. There had been some distorted guitar and aggressive vocals on their previous album ("The Land of Rape and Honey"), but these sounded more like punk than anything else. The band’s development between the two albums is obvious within a nanosecond of "Thieves", the opening track here. This is a metallic statement of intent, sampling and looping a tight thrash riff throughout. This track is also longer and more complex than the guitar-orientated songs on the previous album. There are tempo changes and groovy parts. Jourgensen distorts his vocals even further than before, spliced alongside the usual array of samples and snippets. If there was ever such a thing as ‘techno thrash’, this is it. The intensity increases on "Burning Inside". This is the best track on the album and a career highlight. It is propelled by a shimmering, stuttering breakbeat that runs throughout. This percussive pattern leaves just enough space for a simple distorted guitar line, while Jourgensen’s vocal effects make him sound like he is drowning. This is urgent music, aided by his ability to write rhyming lyrics that conform to a consistent metric foot. Few metal lyricists bother to do this, but it adds an extra layer of rhythmic drive (beyond the riffs and percussion). The best moment is the one-note drop that appears at the 3:45 mark, lasting for about twelve seconds. Such melodic minimalism is rare in metal, but common in nic dance music. It sounds amazing. This album is a daunting prospect at over 50 minutes long. There is no filler. It builds momentum through sequencing and pacing. The brutal metallic riffs of "Never Believe" and "Breathe" are heavier, scarier and more intricate than anything from the previous album. The former has a decent guitar solo, the latter has incredible drumming and a perfect vocal bridge that escalates the tension towards the end. The experimental sample-feasts of "So What" and "Test" are unique. The former has some lovely, subtle guitar work. The latter introduces aggressive hip-hop vocals without sounding cheesy (though there is one sample that sounds like someone shouting "WANKER" repeatedly, which is amusing). Elsewhere, we get the slow, gothic plod of "Cannibal Song", and the ambient collage of "Dream Song" which closes the album in serene style. In retrospect, it is tempting to compare and contrast this record with the subsequent Ministry album (“Psalm 69”, released three years later). "The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste" is a darker and more complete experience, one for the purists. "Psalm 69" made a bigger impact, took the metallic excesses much further, and contained the most iconic Ministry moments. Perhaps it is futile to compare them. All that matters is that "The Mind..." was Ministry's third smash in a row (and would be followed by a fourth). Classic. robotiq 1. Thieves 2. Burning Inside 3. Never Believe 4. Cannibal Song 5. ...SIŁA I PIĘKNO MUZYKI TKWIĄ W JEJ RÓŻNORODNOŚCI...
The Land Of Rape And Honey is an album that firmly established Ministry as a band with an identity and purpose. No longer were they forced to produce British faux cheesy new wave music anymore. Al Jorgensen was finally free to do his own thing musically, and to me the results are some of the most interesting compositions I've heard in the industrial genre. First of all, in 1987, industrial metal wasn't really a thing per say. This album along with the self-titled Godflesh EP helped the genre become what it is today. In fact many bands such as: Fear Factory, Nine Inch Nails, and Slipknot cite this album as an album that greatly influenced them. The Land Of Rape And Honey has a very distinct sound to it that helps differentiate it from the rest of Ministry's discography. For one, quite a few of these tracks such as "Flashback" have a lot of simple drum beats that have a very danceable feel to them. It's somewhat similar to what Nine Inch Nails attempted to do with their debut album Pretty Hate Machine, but in my opinion it's executed much better on this album. The riffs overall are fairly simple, but they're so catchy that it makes up for it. Sometimes less is more. Usually nics in music for me is a bit of a sore spot, but they actually do help bring something to the overall music. Often times there's weird sound effects placed throughout the album, and they are used very well and can help add to the overall atmosphere of the song's. Take for example "Abortive" where the unique samples and loops used help give a creepy vibe to what would otherwise be a very basic 80's dance floor song, and helps make it the perfect soundtrack for some dark club party. However, tracks 4 and 6 are what make this album for me. They aren't really dancy like the rest of the album is. These tracks have more of a groovy atmosphere to them while placing more of an emphasis on atmosphere. "Golden Dawn" has a very drug induced vibe to it, with the simplistic beat being the only thing that doesn't feel like it's gonna fall apart at any given minute. Creepy, jarring guitar lines help the song have a creepy slasher horror movie vibe to it, while the samples serve as the "vocals" of this song and give the listener the possibility that we are entering hell. "Hizbollah" is probably my favorite song off the album. William Rieflin's performance on this track is unique, playing tribal like drum patterns that are simple yet effective. The bass on this song helps give an urban hip hop atmosphere, while the many samples give off a desert like feel to the track. Noise to some? Yeah sure. But to me this track is a unique collage of sounds that are very unique and help make it a stand out song in Ministry's catalogue. The metal edge that Ministry would later become known for is here, but not on full display. The only songs that really have a metal edge to em are the first 3 tracks. I don't really care for "Stigmata" all that much because to me it just sounds very boring to me. It would be somewhat hypocritical of me to call the song repetitive since that's kinda the point of Industrial since it's more focused on the atmosphere being the driving force rather then the instrumentals, but the music here just sounds dull. Considering frontman Al Jorgensen once said that this track was written last minute so the album could be complete, it shows. "The Missing" however has more of a punk energy to it, and "Deity" has a pseudo thrash edge to it. These songs are representative of the sound that would later dominate most of Ministry's career. While some people might view this album as an incoherent experiment due to the fact that this album doesn't really place an emphasis on guitars like later Ministry albums did and instead focuses more on nics, atmosphere, and samples, I would argue this. All the experimental elements of this album are really well placed and fit with the instrumentals, so it doesn't make it sound jarring and instead compliments the song. This is my personal favorite Ministry album because it's the most varied albums out of the "classic era" of Ministry and the song's themselves are really good. I'd say give it a listen if you wanna hear Industrial that's a lot more unorthodox then what you'd normally hear. drummingnerd99 Stigmata 5:45 The Missing 2:54 Deity 3:23 Golden Dawn 5:42 Destruction 3:30 The Land Of Rape And Honey 5:12 You Know What You Are 4:45 Flashback 4:48 Abortive 4:23 Alain Jourgensen Paul Barker Additional Musician: Chris Connelly William Rieflin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cfzszFHmcw 'Głupi ludzie wierzą w głupie bzdury, Mądrzy ludzie wierzą w mądre bzdury' CHURCH IS GIVING MORE LIGHT ONLY WHEN IT'S BURNING. „Twitch” to doskonały przykład industrialnego tańca późnych lat 80. Frontman Ministry, Al Jourgensen, łączy taneczne rytmy z bardziej groźnymi i zgrzytającymi dźwiękami niż wcześniejsze synth-popowe skłonności Ministry, nie wspominając o dystopijnych, anty-establishmentowych tekstach. Włącz go dzisiaj, a nadal brzmi jak muzyka z przyszłości. 1. Just Like You 2. We Believe 3. Wśród nich m.in. Sanford Parker (Corrections House, Mirrors for Psychic Warfare, ex-Minsk), Submerged (The Blood of Heroes, Have Demons), Luke Lund (Have Demons, Ropes of Maui), Miro Snejdr (Herr Lounge Corps, Death in June) czy TROUM. Dodatkowo na krążku znalazł się też teledysk do utworu " From here to ruins". Projekt graficzny wykonał Praetorian. Mastering Radosław Murawski The „ Ground Zero” is a landscape developing from an unknown cataclysm presenting ruins and debris of steel, dust flying in the air, rust and slivers, tumbling down construction, where steel structures bend and fold like a pack of cards. A 37-minute story about the destruction of the concrete world is presented in 6 pieces in a dark ambient/industrial climate. Additionally the record also contains a video clip to „From here to ruins”. Graphical project by Praetorian. https://zoharum.com/wydawnictwa/ground-zero/ 1. Requiem 5:46 2. Without A Breath 6:15 3. Podstawą do utworów były nagrania z otoczenia. Niebagatelne zresztą, gdyż nagrań dokonano na terenie historycznego miejsca jakim jest Fort Tiden, obejmujący kompleks militarnych fortyfikacji umieszczonych na plażach i terenach zalesionych niedalego Nowego Yorku. Choć fort ten pamięta jeszcze czasy wojny z 1812 roku, część budynków odnowiono i udostępniono do zwiedzania, w części zaś prowadzą działalność lokalni artyści. Serdecznie polecam Łebski "Voxfields" is a very interesting and distinctive album by the recently deceased Mark Marchoff. Recorded together with the American artist MJ Caroline Rider, the project is on the one hand very industrial and on the other experimental. It brings to mind the most interesting achievements of industrial bands from the early 1980s as well as the achievements of illbient artists such as Noise Makers Fives. The basis for the songs were recordings from the environment. Moreover, the recordings were made in the area of the historic place which is Fort Tiden, which includes a complex of military fortifications located on the beaches and wooded areas of nearby New York. Although this fort still remembers the war times of 1812, some of the buildings have been renovated and open to the public, and some of them are active by local artists. The atmosphere of this place is certainly felt on the album "Voxfileds". Most of the tracks are made of several tracks superimposed on one another, looped or processed in an interesting way, field recordings. These are various blows, crackles, rubbing of steel elements, or sometimes sounds resembling an old rusty swing in the wind. Sometimes the sounds of metal grinding are contrasted with the sound of waves or the wailing of sea birds. Both the quality and the selection of individual sounds are amazing. The final effect of these collages sounds very interesting and gives you incredible listening pleasure. The album "Voxfields", although simple in its concept, is an amazing sonic journey with a unique atmosphere. At the same time, the brand managed to refer to the classics of industrial, if something like this can be said in the case of this trend at all, and at the same time create a completely new, interesting sound material. I heartily recommend it. Łebski MAREK X. MARCHOFF & MJ CAROLINE RIDER - Voxfields DIFFERENT STATE RELATED PROJECT Marek Marchoff - the brain and the only permanent member behind DIFFERENT STATE project is a very creative man. He works a lot and the effects always amaze the listeners. Almost 20 years of experience in creating experimental and industrial sounds has left a stamp on his works. Without copying his own ideas, he is still searching, discovering new sounds and taking various initiatives. Together with MJ Caroline, he created his first field recording album. It's not a typical album for this kind. Marchoff treated field recordings as a palette of sounds by means of which he built a sonic horror story placed somewhere in Tilden fortress where rhythms are composed of footsteps, beats, reverberations of basements where only in the background life is throbbing and somewhere from the distance the moaning of war sirens can be heard. "Voxfields" is released as a fifth part of our ongoing IYHHH series. We are sure that it will be a stand-out position in this collection that serves a purpose of presenting lesser-known albums or side-projects. But, what seems to be obvious, the album is an excellent position in its own right and can compete with other recordings in this field and beyond. 1. Voxfields I 13:56 2. Voxfields II 0:18 3.
